Czech for International Employees - Evening Course

CU Staff Welcome Centre (SWC) in cooperation with the Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies, Charles University (ILPS CU) is opening a Czech language intensive evening course for international employees of Charles University.

This course is suitable for all levels and beginners are encouraged to join. Upon enrollment, a placement test will assess your proficiency and assign you to a compatible study group, ensuring your optimal language progress.

The course starts on September 5 and the last lesson will be on January 18, 2024. To register, please use the Integrated Educational Portal (log-in instructions to be found below). The maximum amount of participants in this course is limited to 30.

Schedule:

There are 4 lessons per week (1 lesson = 45 minutes), in total 70 lessons.

The Czech language course will take place twice per week:

Tuesday and Thursday, 17:30 – 19:00 (except public holidays)

Venue:

The course will be held in person at the Charles University Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies (IPLS CU) at Voršilská 144/1, Prague 1.

IMPORTANT:

Please note that attendance will be monitored and any participant who will miss more than 12 lessons will not be able to continue the course (there are 4 lessons per week). Charles University covers the costs of one semester per participant.
