The Story of Prague Guided Tour

The 3-hour long guided tour is prepared for you by SWC in cooperation with a professional and highly rated guide Mrs Jiřina Poledníková who will take you for a walk around the Prague city centre and show you all the Prague gems. The meeting point is at the Marian Column at the Old Town Square.

You will get to see and hear many little stories about, for example, Astronomical Clock, the Old Town Square, the Old Town streets, the Charles Bridge and its statues and the Lesser Town of Prague. The walk will end at the footsteps of Prague Castle, the largest, still operating castle complex in the world. By the end of the walk, you will get a better understanding of Czech history, Prague geography and the life of the city, too.

There will be time for you to meet other international CU employees and share your experience with life in Prague. You are welcome to enjoy a jug of great Czech beer and referesh yourself with some traditional Czech dish in one of the local pubs after the guided tour. (The price of the refreshments is not included.) We hope to see you there!

WHERE: Marian Column at the Old Town Square (Mariánský sloup, Staroměstské náměstí)

The tour is organised for Charles University international employees and alumni.

It is free of charge, registration is required.
