We are delighted to be with you again in the year 2022. We wish you and your Czech colleagues and co-workers to communicate successfully and find common ground in dealing with various work and life issues that you have to face during these challenging times of the pandemic.

This year we would like to offer you even more cultural, social and educational events and create other opportunities for you to meet in person and share your experience with life and work in the Czech Republic with other members of the international Charles University community.

You can look forward to guided tours around more and less famous Prague sights again, including the historical Carolinum, buildings of the National Theatre and Prague gardens and parks. We would like to invite you to ballet, opera performances and a quiz night. You can learn and practice your Czech in our Czech language courses. We want these events to be an opportunity for informal meetings and networking among staff from different faculties, departments and workplaces of the university.

The tax year is coming to its end, and you may appreciate our new seminar on the tax system in the Czech Republic in February. We want to offer you again a successful webinar Management of Science on the funding options of scientific projects at CU. We would also like to cover various other topics such as job opportunities in the EU institutions, presentation skills (with a new lecturer), burnout syndrome or time management. We also offer seminars for your Czech colleagues on the employment of foreign workers, funding of scientific projects or language skills seminars.
