Christmas Vanilla Rolls

Enjoy the smell and taste of Czech Christmas! Try our effortless recipe for vanilla rolls.


• powder flour (plain flour) (250 g)

• butter (180 g)

• ground almonds (100 g)

• icing sugar (40 g)

• egg yolk (2)

• icing sugar + vanilla sugar

Make a dough with the flour, butter, almonds, icing sugar and egg yolks, wrap in a bag or put in a bowl, put in the fridge, and leave to rest for an hour (even overnight). Take small pieces of the dough about the size of a hazelnut, roll them into small rolls, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the rolls under the temperature of 180º until they are golden. When ready, wrap the rolls in a mixture of icing sugar and vanilla sugar. Let them cool down and eat! If there are any left, store them in a cold place.
