The end of the validity of "KOLEK" revenue stamps

From January 1, 2025, revenue stamps (known in Czech as "KOLEK") will no longer be accepted as a method of payment for administrative fees in the Czech Republic. Revenue stamps were valid until December 31, 2024 only and cannot be used for payments anymore.

New payment methods

After January 1, 2025 administrative fees will need to be paid through new methods, such as payment terminals at the Ministry of the Interior offices in case of personal submissions. For applications sent by post or data box, payment details for bank transfers need to be generated in advance through the Information Portal for Foreigners.

Please be aware that cash will not be accepted as a payment method. You will need to pay either by credit card, or bank transfer.
