Elections to the European Parliament will take place in the Czech Republic on June 7 and 8, 2024. As is customary in the Czech Republic, they will be held on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In addition to citizens of the Czech Republic, citizens of other EU member states who are registered in the Czech Republic for permanent or temporary residence can also vote in these elections. Citizens of third countries do not have this right. Of course, foreigners who have already obtained Czech citizenship can also vote.
In cooperation with the Prague City Hall, the Prague Integration Center has prepared a leaflet for foreigners, which will help them orient themselves in the elections to the European Parliament and guide them on how to vote in the Czech Republic. The leaflet is available in eight language versions – Czech, English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Bulgarian and Romanian.
You can find the leaflet with more detailed information here.
